Avery Johnson gets out-coached by Jeff Van Gundy

March 6th, 2008 Posted in Avery Johnson

Wanted to post this earlier but just found the video. This was during the Lakers game when Lamar Odom was shooting free-throws with 6 seconds left. He had missed the first one and was getting ready to shoot the second. I’ll let JVG take over from there.

Did Avery just miss this mismatch or did he not know to look out for it? Information like that would be nice to know when your team is only down 1 with 6 seconds left and a shady free-throw shooter at the line.

Oh well, maybe next time.

Everybody with a tv outcoaches Avery. If this year’s pick that we traded away is lottery protected, then let him finish the year so we can finish 9th and pick up a player. If not, he needs to go now, so we can start playing games with a real coach in charge.

Kobe pushed off on Bass to get the rebound, but that’s the way things roll…

Kobe bryant can own the entire mavs team by himself. It’s not the coach’s fault.

Avery makes moronic decisions. How much more proof does one need?

    Kobe Bryant >> Maverick’s roster.

I thought Mark Cuban owned the team? Because there it looked like Kobe Bryant did….He’s knows about sex..I mean second chances maybe I should ask him if I can make a comeback.
